Cassie and Charlie married in York

Cassie and Charlie had their big day in York. First, they had their wedding ceremony at the York Registry Office in the Bootham Suite. They celebrated with friends and family (some even came from China). The ceremony was an emotional and happy occasion.

After the ceremony, we dove into the city to get a number of relaxed shots at various well-known locations in York. Cassie was initially very anxious about being in front of the camera lens but now says that she has “never looked so relaxed before under camera and this is surprisingly fun and easy”.

After wandering through York City centre, we took the wedding party to the outskirts in town, where they had rented an Airbnb location called Deighton Lodge. This was a suitable place for the wedding party to relax and have fun, which definitely happened when the bow-tied llamas made an appearance!
