This one was a whole lot of fun!

Louise got in touch with the idea of a surprise proposal shoot in York. Wisely, she picked the museum gardens. Knowing the spot, I was able to send her some of my pictures from previous wanders around the grounds to help give her an idea of what the place was like.

On the day, we sent each other quick messages, hoping that Izzy wouldn’t be suspicious of the secretive messaging. I arrived early on location (wanted a coffee! and kept an eye out)…until Louise and Izzy entered the grounds from a different entrance (Panic!!!). Thankfully, we were sharing a live location on WhatsApp and as I was walking towards her location, she saw me and did a swift about-turn about back into the gardens.

Feeling like a private detective, it was a fun but nerve-wracking experience to follow them around the park until Louise was ready to pop the question (really appreciated the secretive thumbs up btw Louise…thanks!).

These images below capture their lovely moment, which I was privileged to be part of. Thank you and congratulations to you both.
