As a Scarborough wedding photographer, I always encourage my couples to book an engagement shoot before their big day and James and Zoee’s relaxed pre-wedding session in Scarborough was the perfect start to their wedding journey.

We began our engagement session at Taylor’s Bar and Kitchen, located in the beautiful North Bay area. Over coffee, we chatted through their wedding plans for May 2026, discussing timelines, key moments to capture and how to make their photography feel natural and relaxed. Engagement shoots are a brilliant opportunity for couples to feel comfortable in front of camera while also finalising important details - including my favourite topic: making sure plenty of confetti is ordered! (Confetti cannons were mentioned….and I am very excited about this!).
